Framaforms is a free and open-source/libre online form creation service developed by Framasoft and based on the Yakforms software. Framaforms allows users to create customised forms, surveys and questionnaires without the need for programming skills. It offers a wide range of features, including customisable questions, different response types (e.g. multiple choice, text and rating scales) and response tracking.
Designed as an ethical alternative to the main data collection platforms, Framaforms focuses on protecting users' privacy by not collecting or selling their data and by hosting the service on secure servers. Users can also set expiry dates for forms, limit the number of responses and access results in different formats.
Framaforms is part of the De-google-ify Internet campaign run by Framasoft, which offers around twenty ethical digital services as alternatives to the centralised platforms of the web giants.
