The ECHO (Ethical Common Human and Open Source) Network project is a youth cooperation partnership co-funded by the Erasmus+ program, bringing together 7 European organizations including associations, youth organizations and a European network promoting social justice.
Objective: Promote digital citizenship by equipping youth organizations and associations more broadly to analyze and understand the effects of digital technology on our lives, our organizations and our relationships, taking account of people's rights; and by proposing ethical digital alternatives that respect the environment and human rights.
In 2023, the project partners met, exchanged practices and experimented with approaches in order to propose productions for associations and young people, including :
- A map of structures working to promote ethical digital practices through training, the construction of tools and/or the provision of services.
- A repository of resources and tools available in the network of partners involved in promoting digital citizenship.
- Animation approaches for educators and young people to analyze and understand.
- A guide for associative structures wishing to undertake a digital transition in line with their associative values.
- A plea for an ethical and sustainable digital transition.
