The DARE network is a European platform for education for democratic citizenship and human rights education. It is engaging in networking and supporting cooperation of practitioners, stakeholders and policy makers.

The DARE network developed a free and open Digital Toolbox for democracy learning, digitalisation and non-formal education, named Competendo.

Ceméa (Training Center for Active Education Methods) is a popular education and "éducation nouvelle" movement which, through its educational actions, promotes a society in which the values of democracy, secularism, fraternity, solidarity and respect for human rights are paramount. Their vocation is to train citizens in critical thinking, so that they can bring about the social changes they need. Ceméa support globalization and the construction of a social and united Europe, based on encounters between people, balanced relations between countries and alternatives to liberal economic development.

Their principal means of action is training, and since 1937 they have been active in the educational and social fields: leisure, animation, cultural accompaniment, media, social and professional integration, mental health, Europe and international with professionals and volunteers.
